Roof Mount Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon with Factory Roof Rack
Question:
The factory roof rack looks elliptical but Im not sure if I need to default to a factory definition when narrowing my choices. I also have an aero bar on my other vehicle and would love to get one bike rack that will fit both racks.

There are many bike racks that are a direct fit on the factory crossbars on your 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon. They will likely fit the other vehicle you have though I would need to know more about it to know that for sure.
If you want to avoid having to remove the front wheel to load the bike I recommend the Yakima FrontLoader, # Y02103, which will hold the bike by the wheels. I have linked a video review of this bike rack for you.
If you don't mind taking the front wheel off the bike I recommend the HighSpeed # Y02115. It is designed to hold a bike with a 12-mm, 15-mm, or 20-mm thru-axle fork without an adapter and also includes an adapter to carry a bike with a 9-mm quick-release front-wheel skewer. I have linked a video of this rack as well.
If you can tell me about your other vehicle and its roof rack I can see if these racks will also fit it.
