Will Brophy Trailer Hitch Extender, # HE06 Accept a Threaded Hitch Pin for a Bike Rack

I need a hitch extender so that the bike rack will clear the spare tire on my Jeep Liberty. The bike rack requires the use of a threaded pin. Will the Brophy hitch extender accept a threaded pin? Thanks for your assistance!

Hitch Extender, # HE06, is hollow so it will accept the threaded hitch pin. The use of hitch extension will reduce the tongue weight capacity of your trailer hitch by 50 percent. So for example, if you have a Class III trailer hitch capable of 500 pounds tongue weight capacity, using an extension will reduce that capacity down to 250 pounds. You would need to be certain that the weight of the bike rack plus the weight of the bikes does not exceed the tongue weight capacity for your trailer hitch.
