Recommended Fifth Wheel Installation Kit For 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD With 8-Ft Bed

I have a husky 16ks 5th wheel hitch that I had mounted in my Ford F-350. I need to now install this hitch into my new vehicle. 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500hd with an 8 foot bed. I already have the hitch but I need the mounting kit to install it in my new truck. I found several options on your site but I am uncertain which one I need. Thank you

The installation kit I recommend for your 2004 Silverado is the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit, part # RP50064-58.

This kit includes the custom brackets, rails and hardware, and is compatible with Husky hitches. The custom kit cuts the installation time in half versus a universal kit install. I have attached a link to an installation video for this kit on a 2004 Silverado 2500 you can check out.

If you decide to use a universal installation kit I recommend part # RP30035. Your Husky hitch will work with this installation kit as well.
