Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2016 Honda Odyssey for Carrying Dirt Bike Carrier

Question:

2016 Honda Odyssey minivan. Need a trailer hitch and motorcycle rack to accommodate a YZ250F dirt bike 230lbs wet. I like the hidden hitch or draw-tite 2inch hitches because they use all 6 van mounting holes, but Im not sure that they step the hitch rearward enough to accommodate the AMC400 rack. I also want as much ground clearance as I can get. Maybe the Curt is better? Maybe another rack is better? Maybe I have nothing to worry about? Thanks,

The hitch to use on your 2016 Honda Odyssey is the Draw-Tite part # 75270 as it has the highest tongue weight rating. When you use a motorcycle carrier like the part # UF48-979033 you want to make sure the hitch has at least a 500 lb tongue weight capacity and this hitch has a 675 lb tongue weight capacity.

You would need to check the owners manual of your Odyssey to make sure your vehicle has the capacity for this application as well.
