5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Use with a Sidewinder and 2015 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I have a flagstaff 5er on order it comes with a reese sidewinder. I need help selecting between the reese titan 20 and the Reese M5 Fifth Wheel - RP30928 My truck is a 2015 Toyota tundra dbl cab with a 6.5 foot bed. I understand I can use standard rails and do not need a slider. I really like the BandW Patriot 18 K too. Please help, as I have read various online info and am concerned to make decision as to which is best and will perform the best with the sidewinder. Thank you!

If it were me I would use the Reese M5 hitch # RP30928 because it does tend to work better with Sidewinder pin boxes than the Titan and it is superior to the B&W Patriot which is the B&W economy hitch. The M5 hitch is the way to go for this set up.
Since the trailer has a Sidewinder pin box you are correct about not needing a slider.
For an installation kit for your 2015 Toyota Tundra short bed I recommend Curt custom kit # C16468-204. Custom kits require less drilling for installation compared to universal kits and the Reese hitch will fit perfect in the Curt rails.
