Can a Weight Distribution System Be Installed on a Trailer with a Side Mounted Trailer Jack

Will the Fastway E2 hitch work on a trailer with a side mounted swivel tongue jack?

Expert Reply:
That would depend on where the jack was located on the frame of the trailer. If it was installed between the coupler ball hole and 30 inches back from there it is going to interfere with the weight distribution system.
If the jack can be moved back behind the spring bar brackets that would allow the WD system to install. Or if you could install the jack on the inside of the frame channels that would be an option as well.
