Availability of Plug-In 4-Pole Trailer Connector for 2000 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
I have 2000 Chevy Silverado with a GM 15304995 Rear Lighting Distribution Box. Do you make a tee style, in line, adapter to add a straight 4 wire trailer connector? Thanks.

If your 2000 Chevrolet Silverado has a factory 7-way trailer connector with a round U.S. Car connector at the back (please see photo) you can use part # 74682 to provide both 7-way and 4-pole connectors in one housing. If you prefer them to be separated then instead you can use harness # 118384 which will connect inline with the existing 7-way's connectors. Both connectors will be active at the same time.
You also have the option of wiring in a totally separate universal 4-pole trailer harness # C59236 that will connect to your taillight wiring and battery and be completely independent of any existing trailer wiring from the factory. An install video is linked.
