Trailer Connector Functions Lost Power on a 2007 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Ok I have a question I dont have any lights on my trailer connector last yr they worked fine then they started to lose power a lil at a time where is the ground wire at for the plug in for my trailer

If you look at the back of the 7-Way trailer connector the ground wire is located in the 5 o'clock position. You can follow that wire to see where it terminates. I also recommend making sure the 7-Way connector is clean and free of corrosion inside, where the wires attach, and outside on the pins. Corrosion can cause a poor connection and be the root of the problems you have.
You can also check the tow package fuses but if the connector slowly stopped working one function at a time it may not be fuse related.
