Bike Rack that is Quick and Easy to Remove from a Trailer Hitch on a Toyota Venza
Question:
Hi, Im interested in some form of quick release for my bike rack. I just had a new hitch installed on my Toyota Venza and plan on ordering the TH9058 to transport one bike. I realize this rack tilts down for access to the rear hatch, but would like to know if there's any form of quick release item to completely remove the rack from the hitch without using a wrench to remove the mounting bolt each time? Id prefer not to have the rack attached to the car all the time, especially during the week when it would typically not be used. Any information appreciated!

There isn't a quick release set up for the Thule Roadway # TH9058 but if you used the Kuat Beta, # B202-2, then it has a regular pin and a knob that you can loosen by hand and not have to use a wrench. This model fits 2 inch hitches only. If the hitch on your Venza is a 1-1/4 inch then # B202-114 would be the correct bike rack.
These racks cost just a little more but they are super light weight at just over 12 pounds. I have linked a video review for you.
