Roof Cargo Basket Availability that Can Have a Bike Rack Mounted to It

Can I add a bike attachment to one of the city roof top baskets?

I have a solution for you, but the Curt basket you mentioned does not have the ability to install a bike rack on it. The Thule Canyon XT basket part # TH859XT does have the ability for a bike rack to be installed on it though.

For a fork mount you could use the part # Y02115 or for a wheel mount you could then use the # TH598004 .

Hi, I'm looking for a way to transport bikes using the Malone Airflow 2 cross bars. I currently have a Rola Vtex roof basket. Is it possible to find a roof mounted bike rack that can go over this roof basket so I don't have to remove it every time i want to haul a bike or two?

Unfortunately there isn't an available bike rack that's designed or confirmed to work on/over the Rola Vortex Cargo Basket. You may have enough room next to it for a single bike (if the basket is pushed to the side) but for both bikes you'll likely need to remove the basket. If you don't yet have a rack in mind I highly recommend the Yakima # Y02103.

@ChrisR Thanks for the reply! I don't think moving the basket over is not an option based on the length of the cross bars and the size of the basket. I'm looking to haul more than one bike and Yakima products are just too darn expensive to justify purchasing them.
