Question:

I have an old 1968 16 ft. Aristocrat Lo-Liner Travel Trailer I acquired and need to replace the tires. On there now is: General Jet 6.50 x 13 4 ply tires.. What would an equivalent replacement be??. I also need to replace the rear and side lights and need to know if you have sizes that are close to what is on there now.

We do not carry your original 6.50 x 13 size trailer tires but we can offer you a modern metric equivalent.

Your original tires (when new with full tread depth) should have had an overall diameter of about 24.7-inches. The nearest metric size, 175/80-13, will be close in diameter at 24.1-inches and only a fraction of an inch wider at 6.88-inches. The linked page will show you all trailer tires in this size.

You can choose from various load ranges, up to a LRD tire like the Kenda radial # AM10210 which is rated for 1610-lbs at 65-psi. Radial tires will tend to run cooler than the bias ply type and they also flex more for better road contact. If you don't need that much weight capacity then the LRC Taskmaster tire # TTWTRTM1758013C, rated for 1360-lbs at 50-psi, is a good option.

For trailer lights you can use the linked page to see all categories of trailer lights. Simply click on the filters provided to select the type, size, color, and mounting style that you need. We offer standard incandescent lights, LEDs and halogen lights too.
