Can a Trailer with 5.70-8 Tires get Replaces with 20.5x8-10

Question:

I have a 1980 Coleman Valley Forge Lite popup camper with 570X8 tires, Load D with a capacity of 1110 pounds. Can I increase the tire size to a 10, load D at 1330 capacity? There appears to be enough room in the wheel well to accommodate the added size. Thanks.

The overall diameter of a 5.70-8 is right at 18.1 inches and the nearest size for a 10 inch rim is the 20.5x8-10 which is 20.5 inches in overall diameter. The width difference between the two is right at 2.5 inches. If you have room for the additional diameter and width you would be totally fine.

It would just be a matter of getting the correct bolt pattern. For a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern you would want the part # AM3H490 or for a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern # AM3H460.
