How Does the Extang Installation Tool for Replacement Snaps Install New Snaps

I spoke to my contact with Extang and he informed me that to use the snap tool part # EX2016 all you need to do is put each of the pieces that come with this kit on the end of a pair of pliers or vice grips and then use that to crimp the new snaps onto the cover.
