How to Attach Curt Stabilization Strap to a 2016 Toyota Prius V with Rear Spoiler
Question:
Does anyone know if this strap will work with a Prius V mine is a 2016 that comes with a rear spoiler? I worry that the spoiler will interfere with the straps functionality or damage the spoiler. Thanks for any help.

Expert Reply:
Because your 2016 Prius has that spoiler what I recommend is to use the Curt strap # 18050 with passive security strap # TH533. The way this will work is you will open the rear hatch and feed the loop end of the strap between the hatch and the roof from the inside out. Pull it through until the disc part of the strap is all the way up.
Close the hatch and use the Curt strap to attach to the passive security strap. You can hook the Curt strap to the loop and it won't fall off as long as you got it tight.
