The Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30051 comes with everything to mount the hitch to 5th wheel rails in the truck bed. If you do not yet have 5th wheel rails in your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 short bed you will need to add them to mount the hitch.
I recommend custom installation kit # RP50140-58 because it requires less drilling and installs in less time compared to universal kits. I've linked a video showing an example installation of this kit for you.
