Yes! I am happy to report that the etrailer trailer hitch # e98864 will fit your 2016 Toyota RAV4 hybrid model.

If you want to use the hitch for accessories such as a bike rack or cargo carrier keep in mind that the vehicle has a tongue weight capacity of 150 pounds (consult your owner's manual to confirm). This means that even if a hitch has a higher rating you are still limited to the lower 150 pound capacity so the combined weight of a bike rack or cargo carrier and whatever you have loaded on them cannot exceed 150 pounds.

If you plan on doing some towing the same rules apply: the tongue weight capacity maxes out at 150 pounds and the gross trailer weight, which is the most the trailer can weigh, is at 1,500 pounds.

For a ball mount and accessories for towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

And for trailer wiring I recommend harness # 118578 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. I have linked videos for you showing installations of the hitch and wiring.
