To replace the brake assemblies for your 2004 Gulfstream Canyon, with Dexter axle and 8-201 hub and drums, I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Assembly, Self-Adjusting # AKEBRK-7L-SA for the left-hand side and # AKEBRK-7R-SA for the right-hand side.
These brakes are designed for trailer axles from 5,200 pounds to 7,000 pounds and will fit your 12 inch x 2 inch drums. The brake assemblies are self-adjusting so you will not need to make adjustments to the brakes. I have attached a review video of these brake assemblies for you.
