Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch Compatibility w/ Reese RP30154 5th Wheel Rail Adapter

Question:

I own 2016 Ram 2500 Megacab short bed with factory fifth wheel towing prep. Ill be towing a 2009 Keystone Cougar 278RKS. Since I have a short bed Im considering the Demco DM8550034 auto slider. My question involves comparing these two adapters: Demco DM6099 Reese RP30154 I like the RP30154 because it doesnt have anything to get hung up on like the DM6099 locking handles, but Im concerned that if I dont get the DEMCO the REEASE will not be as compatible with the DEMCO hitch. Any help here would be appreciated.

The Demco # DM8550034 Hijacker Autoslide is compatible with industry-standard fifth wheel bed rails. Since the Reese # RP30154 provides industry-standard rails, the Autoslide would be compatible with the Reese adapter.

I've confirmed this with our Demco representative.
