How to Determine Which Wire Gets Wired to a Load Resistor on a 2008 GMC Sierra
Question:
I have an 08 gmc Sierra. It has two blinker bulbs outer side in the tail lights. I have a load resistor for each led bulb, but the sockets have 4 wires each. Which wires are the power wires for the load resistor to be wires into?

To determine which wire provides power to the taillights of your 2008 GMC Sierra will require you to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to probe each of the wires until you find the one that has voltage when the taillight is activated.
I attached a picture that shows the proper way to wire load resistors like # DI34ZR to a light circuit as well.
