Recommended Cable Lock For Pro Series Q-Slot Platform-Style 2 Bike and 4 Bike Rack

Question:

We recently purchase a pro series Q Slot 4 Bike Rack Item 63138. We are trying to find a lock that will fit the 5/8inch anti rattle bolt and we are wondering if the Lets Go Aire Snap On Lock item ACC3250 will work on the anti rattle bolt that came with the Q slot bike rack. If this lock wont work please let me know what lock to purchase that will fit ours. Thanks very much.

We do not offer a lock that will work with the 5/8 anti-rattle bolt that came with your Pro Series Q-Slot Platform-Style 2 Bike and 4 Bike Rack. Since the bike rack shank has proprietary threads, a standard non-threaded hitch pin like part # SHP2061 and # ACC3250 lock will not work.

I recommend using a cable lock like part # e98891. You would just route the cable through the bike frames and then thread the cable through the safety chain loops on your trailer hitch.
