To replace your existing F78-14ST tires, a 205/75-14 size tire will work great. If your trailer has a single axle, you will want tires with a weight capacity of at least 1,750 pounds to accommodate the 3,500 pound weight of your boat and trailer. If the trailer has tandem axles, each tire will need at least an 875 pound weight capacity.

If you only need to replace the tires, a great choice is the Taksmaster Provider ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire, Load Range C # TR20514. This radial tire is great for highway use, will provide better ground contact, and run cooler than a bias ply tire. The # TR20514 has a maximum load capacity of 1,760 pounds at 50 psi. I have attached a review video of this tire for you.

For a tire and wheel combo, I recommend the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Tire with 14 Inch Galvanized Wheel # AM32156. This tire also has a 1,925 pound max load at 60 psi. The galvanized wheel has a 5 on 4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern and the galvanization will help resist rust. I have also attached a review video of this tire and wheel combo.

The Kenda Loadstar # AM1ST86 that you referenced has a maximum weight capacity of 1,760 pounds at 50 psi. This load capacity will be 3,520 for a single axle and 7,040 if your trailer has tandem axles, but not if it is a single axle trailer.

It is always a good idea to use tires of the same size, load range, and construction on a trailer. If you use tires that don't match, you could experience problems of overloading and overheating, which can lead to tire failure.
