We do offer Class II, Class III and Class IV hitches for your 1996 Ford van that can be seen on the linked page. But since a van converted to an ambulance can have design features, such as a special bumper, that could affect the fit of a given hitch what I suggest you do is review the hitches available for the one with the size and capacity you need and then check its installation instructions.
You can compare the install instructions (and/or videos) to the van to see if there are any features that would interfere with access to the hitch attachment points on the frame. All of the custom-fit hitches we offer will require drilling for installation.
If you find that the custom hitches do not work for your van you can use one of the universal-fit frame-mount or bumper-mount hitches we offer for RVs. These are shown on the other link. Frame-mount hitches fit a range of frame widths. For example, Curt 2-inch hitch # 13703 fits frame widths from 22- to 72-inches and can weld or bolt on. Hardware is included.
