Can a Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch be Used with a Sidewinder Pin Box
Question:
I currently have a Reese pro series 16k sliding fifthwheel installed in my truck and my camper has a slippery 1621 extended pinbox. Can I install a Reese sidewinder 16k on my camper and still use my pro series sliding fifthwheel obviously not having to use the sliding function! Or do I have to switch to a non-sliding fifthwheel in my truck?

You can definitely still use a Sidewinder with a sliding fifth wheel hitch. Like you mentioned, you would just leave it slid forward all the time and you would be just fine.
The correct Sidewinder to use to replace your Lippert 1621 style pin box is the # RP34FR. I attached an install video for this Sidewinder plus a help article on them for you to check out as well.
