Recommended B&W 5th Wheel Hitch for 2015 Ram 2500
Question:
I have a 2016 Landmark 365 with 3 slides. Weight is around 16000lb. I am using an Anderson ultimate hitch at this time but I am concerned about the pin weight. It can only handle 4500lbs and I am pushing that weight at this time with very little extra weight and with out a gen. Witch type of BandW hitch would be suitable ? Not impressed with Reese, to big to heavy. I need my bed when not in use. Have to leave this week end and need one fast. Tks

If you need to keep your Ram 3500's bed clear for cargo when you're not towing, the B&W Companion system is an excellent choice. B&W uses a gooseneck hitch/install kit that allows the 5th wheel hitch to be removed when the bed is needed - with no base rails to get in your way.
You can use the link provided to select the version of the Ram 3500 that you have to then see B&W hitch options.
For example, if you have an 8-foot bed and no factory rail system you can use the 20K hitch # BWRVK3500-5W along with installation kit # BWGNRK1314-5W. This hitch features beefy 1-inch thick dual jaws for excellent king pin contact. If you need a wiring harness you can use Curt # C56000 which is a simple plug-in installation.
If you have the 6-foot bed with factory rail kit then instead you can use the B&W OEM Companion, part # BWRVK3600, rated for 25K capacity.
