Why Would Powered Landing Gear On a Toy Hauler Raise Slowly
Question:
I have a 2010 Fuzion 302 touring edition toyhauler. The electric jack on the front landing gear runs very slow and recently has stopped lifting. When lifting, the jack sounds like a low battery, but the batteries are reading 12.8 under the load. It lowers just fine. I cranked it up by hand and it was easy so I dont think my gear box is an issue. Can you suggest a heavy duty replacement motor that will get my hauler lifting like it should? Id like one thats high speed so It doesnt take forever. Thanks,

Slow landing gear is usually the result of the following issues:
1. low battery voltage
2. bad ground for the jack motor
3. lack of lubrication on the jack screws and pinion gear
The motor could be bad, but I would check the above mentioned things first before you replace the motor.
To pick out a motor I would need to know the landing gear brand though. For a replacement motor the part # LG-142178 would work as it is confirmed to fit Venture, Atwood and Lippert landing gear.
