Will Gravel Roads Damage the Back Up Light # BUL10CB Mounted on a Boat Trailer
Question:
Youve answered several of my questions regarding a Submersible Backup Light for my boat. I have one more question, or concern. I travel on a number of gravel roads with my boat. Im afraid if I purchase the BUL10CB Light and use the A70GB Grommet, along with the recommended Mounting Bracket, the back of my light will be exposed to the debris while traveling down the road. My thought was to use a metal, or heavy plastic box to attach the grommet and light to and for go the Mounting Bracket. Do you have any suggestions, or comments? Do you have a Retail Store? If so, what is the address? Thanks!

As long as you mount the backup light part # BUL10CB using the grommet part # A70GB and bracket part # BK70BB in such a way that it would not be directly behind the tires of the trailer you really shouldn't have a problem with debris...unless you drive like the guys on Dukes of Hazzard.
I don't think a box to protect the lights would be necessary. You would just need to pick a good location for the lights and you would be fine.
