I can help you determine if the custom fit Curt hitch # C13152 will work for your wheelchair and wheelchair carrier on your 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe.
The tongue weight capacity, or maximum downward force that can be safely applied to a hitch is typically 10 percent of the towing capacity of the vehicle.
The combined weight of your wheelchair plus the wheelchair carrier, is within the 900lb tongue weight capacity of the hitch itself, but if the tongue weight capacity of your vehicle is less, you will need to abide by the lower rating.
To determine if the vehicle itself can bear the weight you will want to check your vehicle's capacity weight, this will be located in the driver's door placard. You will want to take this number and subtract it from the passengers and any other cargo and that will give you the amount of tongue weight that can be supported by your vehicle.
For example if your vehicles capacity is 930lbs and you have 2 x 140lb passengers then (930-280=650). You would have 650lbs of tongue weight left, which is plenty for your 430lbs of wheelchair and wheelchair carrier to mount securely.
If you determine that the tongue weight capacity of the vehicle can handle 430lbs or more, then this hitch will work great for your setup.
