How to Tow a Trailer with Electric Brakes with a Vehicle that has Air Brakes

I have international 4900 with air brakes and Im looking to tow a trailer with electric brakes do you sell a controller that I could install in my truck that would operate the trailer brakes.

The easiest solution is going to be to install an electric brake controller like the P2 part # 90885. This would hardwire to your truck and wouldn't have any connection to the air brake system at all which would make install much easier than trying to tie in to that.

If you need a 7-way connector at the back of your vehicle the kit you will want is the # ETBC7 which will come with everything needed to install the controller. If you have a 7-way already then instead you would just need the part # 5506 to wire up the controller to it.

If instead you really want to use the air system of your tow vehicle to apply the brakes of your trailer you can go with the Hayes part # HA100400C but it is quite a bit more expensive.
