Recommended Trailer Hitch And Trailer Wiring Harness For 2014 Mazda CX-5
Question:
Hi. I saw the video on your site for the C13127 Trailer Hitch for the 2014 CX-5. Is this the easiest hitch to install for the vehicle. I already have a receiver bar for the 2inch so this is a no brainer for me. Also, do you sell a trailer harness package for the 2014 CX-5 with instructions for that? Thanks.

The installation of a trailer hitch on your CX-5 is an easy bolt-on and requires no drilling into the frame.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 76138for your Maxda. I recommend this trailer hitch because it's designed specifically for your vehicle and is a high quality product.
It's a Class lll hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening.
The trailer wiring harness I recommend for your CX-5 is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118563. You can attach the harness to the wiring located behind the tail lights and then run the hot lead wire to the front of the car and attach it to the positive battery post.
I have attached a link to an installation video for this harness you can check out. The installation instructions are also included.
