Differences Between Hitches Available for 2010 Nissan Xterra

Question:

besides price is there any difference between the trailer hitches available for th 10 xterra? I know my brother ordered a hidden hitch for his honda pilot, you couldnt tell from the pictures, but it ended up being a low-profile one where you only could see the hitch opening but not the cross-member. thanks

There is very little difference between the hitches listed for your Xterra. Draw-Tite has a 3500 lb towing 350 lb tongue weight capacity. The Curt hitch, part # 13514 has a 4000 lb towing 400 lb tongue weight capacity and is very similar in appearance to the other hitch.

The installation procedure for the hitches is identical.

The hitches would be partially visible from the rear. The side flanges where the hitch bolts to the vehicle frame would be hidden, with the receiver opening and several inches of the round tube on either side being visible from the rear.
