Adding an 7-Way Trailer Connector to the Bed of a 1997 Ford F-250HD with Factory 7-Way at Bumper
Question:
Need a replacement wiring harness to tie in to move the 7 way plug from bumper to side mounted on inner bed drivers side to iliminate moister getting into current plug from tire spray when raining. Which one do I need?

First, check the back of your existing 7-Way trailer connector on your 1997 Ford F-250 HD. If the wiring harness that plugs into the back is a round connector then you can use any 5th wheel/gooseneck wiring harness that has the same round connectors including # C56070.
Everything that I could find indicates that your truck does have a compatible connector to use this type of harness to Tee into and install a 7-Way in the truck bed!
