Do Putco Ceramic Load Resistors P230004C-2 Get Hotter than Aluminum Load Resistors 230004A-2
Question:
What is the difference between the Ceramic and the Aluminum resistors? Does the Aluminum ones get hotter than the Ceramic? Thank you!!

All types of load resistors such as part # DI34ZR will get hot as they do their job of absorbing power (providing resistance). Both will work fine for helping a wiring harness work well with low-power-demand LED type trailer lighting. Aluminum will disapate heat faster, however, all will get the job done.
