7-Way/4-Pole Trailer Socket for 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question:

I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 without a towing package no hitch or wiring. Which wiring harness would I use to give me both 7 and 4 pin plugs. Thank you

You can check under your rear bumper to see whether your Silverado has a capped off round U.S. Car connector (please see the linked photo) or blunt wires. If you find a round connector then you'll use part # HM40975. If you find blunt cut wires then you'll also need harness # PK11998. Part # HM40975 provides both a 4-pole flat and a 7-way RV-style trailer connector in one housing.

If all circuits are not active you can check in the engine compartment power distribution box for any required fuses that you may need to install to complete the towing circuitry.
