Troubleshooting Slow Moving Landing Gear Jacks on Keystone Raptor Fifth Wheel
Question:
I need a motor replacment I believe the unit is mounted on a 2004 keystone raptor fifth wheel 14800 gv with, seems to take forever to move up or down a would guess 1 min per 1/4- 1/2 inch. I assume the motor is tired would not figure it should take 5 minutes or longer to get up or down

Slow landing gear is usually the result of the following issues:
1. low battery voltage
2. bad ground for the jack motor
3. lack of lubrication on the jack screws and pinion gear
The motor could be bad, but I would check the above mentioned things first before you replace the motor.
For a replacement motor the part # LG-142178 would work as it is confirmed to fit Venture, Atwood and Lippert landing gear.
