Is an Extension Needed with the Reese Goose Box to Tow a 5th Wheel Trailer Level
Question:
I am converting to under bed ball hitch BLUE OX Diamond inch I want to change my stock 1621HD pin box to a Goosebox . I now have a Reese Pro20K slider 5th wheel hitch. Will the Goosebox need a height extension of some kind to keep my fifth wheel riding level with the truck or will the Goosebox already have the offset needed built in the the Gooseneck hitch. My truck rides level with the Slider in it now.

The Reese Goose Box # RP85FR has a standard height but to determine if there will need to be any adjustments you can go by the measurements. The Goose Box measures 19.2 inches from the lowest mounting hole down to the bottom of the gooseneck coupler part of the Goose Box. The Goose Box can be adjusted up and down by bolting it higher or lower on the trailer as needed so I am sure you can get a level ride when using it.
