Cargo Carrier and Hitch Recommendation for a 2009 Honda Fit
Question:
I have a 2009 Honda Fit. Will this cargo carrier be suitable for transporting bags of soil and river rocks from Home Depot?

We have just what you need. To carry a cargo carrier on your 2009 Honda Fit you will first need a hitch installed like the Curt part # C11064 which is a confirmed fit.
Since this is a Class I 1-1/4 inch hitch you would need a carrier compatible with it. The part # C18145 would work well for this. As long as you stay under the tongue weight capacity of the hitch (200 lbs) you could load whatever cargo you needed on the carrier that weighs 28 lbs. I attached a review video that shows this carrier being demoed on a similar 2012 Honda Fit.
