Can Fifth Wheel Rails be Installed in Bed of Truck and Can They Only Attach to Truck Bed
Question:
I installed a fithwheel slider curt on a flat bed I centered right in the middle is it safe because my brackets dont reach the chassi can I put them on the angle that holds the flet bed

Flat beds sit up higher from the frame of the truck than standard beds and that is why your fifth wheel rail brackets aren't able to attach to the frame of the truck.
You are going to have to find a way to attach the rails to the truck's frame and not just the truck bed. You most likely will have to seek out a qualified fabricator in your area that has experience with this.
