Brake Controller and Install Wiring Recommendation for a 2015 Ram 1500

Question:

I was looking at the prodigy p3 for a 2015 ram 1500. I was told by an RV dealer that I would still have to take the truck to dodge to have it programmed for the trailer brakes. Is this true?

The Prodigy P3 # 90195 is an excellent brake controller for you to use on your 2015 Ram 1500. This is basically the nicest brake controller you can get so we would recommend it highly All you would need to install it is the correct install harness, part # 3024-P.

You would not have to take your truck to a dealer to have anything programmed or changed. Just use the # 3024-P to install the controller, mount it, and you would be ready to tow.
