Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller and 12V Trailer Charging Circuits
Question:
I plan to install a brake controller Tekonsha P3 to allow me to tow a small RV trailer with electric brakes. Your website recommends the ETBC7 wiring kit to make the connections between the brake controller, car battery, and the 7-way connector to the trailers electric brakes. I would also like to provide power to the trailers battery charger and would need one more wire than the ETBC7 kit contains. Do you have a brake controller kit that would include a 3-conductor cable to allow me to also charge the trailers battery through the 7-way?

Actually the # ETBC7 brake controller install kit includes the components needed to add both braking signal AND also 12V trailer battery charge circuits to your 2013 Santa Fe. It includes the 7-way socket. To install the ETBC7 you just need to have a working 4-pole harness on the car already. A video and help article are linked for you to illustrate installation.
If you need a 4-pole use kit # C56332 if your Santa Fe has the factory tow package; use kit # C56184 if it does not.
The Prodigy P3 brake controller # 90195 is a proven performer that is highly rated by those that use it.
