Is the Rightline Gear SUV Tent RL110907 Raccoon Proof
Question:
When the tent is connected to the car and the hatch is open at night is the connection between the car and tent tight enough to keep raccoons from getting into the car? Our sealed food bin would be kept in the front seat at night.

While Rightline doesn't specifically state whether or not their Tent part # RL110907 is raccoon-proof I would think that it would take a pretty smart and persistent one to actually get in the tent.
We have yet to hear from any customers who have bought this tent and ended up having any issues with raccoons either. If you were sleeping in the tent and something was trying to get in you would also hear them before they actually got in.
