Can a 5.70-8 Tire Replace a 4.80-8 Size Trailer Tire
Question:
On my boat i have 4.80x8 with 5 bolts with a 4.5 bolt circle Like to change to a bigger tire like a 5.70x8 Will this work.

Yes, a 5.70-8 tire will fit the same rim that a 4.80-8 tire fit. They both are designed to fit 8 inch diameter rims that are 3-3/4 inches wide. The larger tire will end up being 2 inches taller overall so you would end up with 1 inch less of fender clearance vertically.
For a tire in this size that would work well you would want the part # AM10013. This is a Load Range D tire with a 1,075 lb capacity at 100 psi.
