I have a solution for you, but there is not a 5th wheel and gooseneck under-bed hitch like the # RP30158-52 that is confirmed to fit your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. I spoke with my contact at Reese and she confirmed that they do not have a similar hitch fit for your 2006 Dodge Ram.

To install a Reese under-bed 5th wheel kit, you will want to use the Reese Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP30074. The gooseneck that is compatible with these rails is the Reese Elite Series Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # RP30845. This above-bed gooseneck will attach in the pucks of the # RP30074 under-bed hitch. I have attached review videos of both these hitches for you.

The 5th wheel hitch that is designed to work with the Reese Under-Bed Rail # RP30074 and will fit your 6 foot truck bed is the Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Hitch with Slider # RP30144.

To use an industry standard 5th wheel hitch with the under-bed system, you can use the Under-Bed Rail Adapter # RP30156.
