Trailer Wiring Harness and Hitch Recommendation for a 2016 Honda Pilot
Question:
I am getting ready to order a trailer hitch for my 2016 Honda Pilot Elite and since it did not come with a towing package, which wiring harness will I need to make the proper connections. And since this vehicle has more LED lights, bells, and whistles than the standard Pilot...will it still work? And...your videos make the hitch installation look fairly easy, do you have a wiring video?

For trailer wiring for your 2016 Honda Pilot Elite the Tow Ready harness part # 118286 has been confirmed as a fit and would work well for you. We don't have an install video at this time, but if you check out the attached install link you will see how easy the install process would be.
For a trailer hitch the Curt part # C13146 that you referenced would be a confirmed fit as well. I attached the install video you referenced too.
If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
