Does Fastway Self-Locking Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount DTALBM6600 Include Locks
Question:
I have a 2015 Toyota Tundra SR5 with a 2inch tow receiver tube thats about 20inch above ground. I plan to purchase a horse trailer that will weigh about 7000 lbs when loaded. The trailer folks tell me that Ill need a 15inch high, 2inch tow ball. I like the solid aluminum DT-ALBM6600 ball mount system, as I think Ill need a 6inch and it looks like it can handle the tow weight and tongue weight. Also, it looks like there is a system to keep the rattle and clunk minimized. However, Im wondering a couple things: 1. What doesnt seem included is the hitch pin. Do I buy this separately? Is it locking with a key so no one steals my hitch tow bar/ball? 2. It seems like the tow ball assembly that slides up and down for adjustment can be removed with an Allen wrench. Is there some provision to lock these with a key, preferably the same key as the hitch pin? thank you for answering my questions and pointing me in the right direction for another product if the DT-ALBM6600 is not the right one for me for some reason.

The Fastway Self-Locking Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount # DTALBM6600 includes locks for both the adjustable-height ball platform and for the main shank portion that fits into your 2-inch hitch receiver. You do not need any additional parts to keep this secured to your Tundra. Please refer to the linked video for illustration.
Do note that the ball mount has a tongue weight (TW) capacity of 1000-lbs, comes with both a 2-inch ball rated for 8K and a 2-5/16-inch ball rated for 10K, and thanks to its milled aluminum construction requires no maintenance.
