Trailer Hitch for 2015 Toyota Highlander with 19 Hitch Compatibility
Question:
Need a hitch for my 2015 Toyota Highlander, however, the spare tire is a full size 19inch wheel with 245/55/19 tire leaving almost no space between the tire and the rear bumper. Any suggestions?

The Curt Hitch part # C13200 is designed to fit around the spare tire when it is stowed under the rear of the vehicle. The distance between the tread of the tire and the bumper should not matter as the hitch is not designed to fit between the two.
You will need to measure the mounting surface for the hitch on your vehicle (the frame) down to the furthest point down on the spare tire. If that distance is less than 3 inches this hitch will fit. Check out the picture I attached to see where to measure.
