We do not carry a trailer brake controller called the POD but we do offer many, including both time-delay types like the cost-effective Tekonsha PowerTrac # 39523 up to the best proportional type controllers like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 and P3 # 90195. These are among the most reliable and easy-to-use controllers on the market. Each type of controller offers advantages in certain specific circumstances. The linked article will help explain the benefits of each type.
Other parts may be needed to install a controller; this depends on how your Trailblazer was equipped at the factory. If it has a factory 7-way then you'll only need the controller itself since the wires to connect it are already run under the dash. If you do NOT have a factory 7-way then you'll need additional parts; you'll need our install kit # ETBC7 as well as a 4-pole harness # C55515 if you do not already have one.
An ETBC7 install video is linked for you along with an article.
