6-Way to 4-Way Adapter Recommendation for RV Flat Towing Vehicle
Question:
RV has separate brake and turn lights 6 pin socket wired the same. Towing a tow dolly that has a 4 pin flat with brake and turn lights on the same circuit. How can I fix this to make my brake lights work on the trailer. Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:
To adapt a 6-Way round trailer connector to a 4-Way flat, you will just need an adapter like # 47305B that you have referenced. The turn signals and brake lights on the Winnebago do not matter because the signals at the trailer connector are already converted to have the brake lights and turn signals on combined circuits which is what trailers use.
If for some reason you had separate trailer wiring on the RV you would need to make an adapter. You would need an adapter # RM-732 and a part # C58044 and a # PK11604 as well.
