Recommendation for Ratchet Straps to Secure Rhino to D-Rings on Utility Trailer

Question:

I have an 8x10 tandem wheel utility trailer. Certainly enough for my 1200lb Rhino 600 Trailer GVWR is 7000 lb. There are four D-ring tie down points at each corner of the trailer. Trailer sides are 24inch high lined with landscape mesh. Ill be going 100-150 miles out into the Desert, with potentially some dirt road driving not radical stuff, but could be bumpy. Now, for the question. I need to put the Rhino on the trailer and secure it. Which straps should I get?

I can help you get the right straps for your Rhino and utility trailer.

I recommend the Erickson # EM34420, this kit includes 4 straps rated for 500lbs each. Since tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL), when all 4 straps are used together it will give you a working load limit of 2,000lbs, which is more than enough to secure your Rhino to your trailer.

I've included a video of how these straps work for your convenience.
