Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator that Does Not Require a Brake Controller

Question:

I'm switching my trailer to electric/hydraulic drum brakes but my TV does not have a brake controller. I don't really want to mount one so I am hoping there is another option.

I have the perfect solution for you. Take a look at the Cargo Towing Solutions Hydrastar XL # HBAC10-CLR. With this electric over hydraulic actuator there is no need for a hard-wired brake controller in the tow vehicle. It comes with a handheld unit that plugs into a power outlet in the vehicle cab and communicates with the unit on the trailer wirelessly! This unit does work with drum brakes.

I also recommend adding breakaway kit # HBA-EBA if the trailer does not already have one. It was specifically made for the Hydrastar XL.
