Will the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box Fit on a 2002 GMC Yukon with Factory Cross Bars

Will the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box carrier attach to a standard OEM cross bar on a 2002 Yukon without any additional hardware or modification?

Yes, the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box, item # SR7018, should fit the factory cross bars on your 2002 GMC Yukon. To be sure you should measure the cross bars and make sure that they are no taller or wider than 4 inches. The U-Blots that come with the Aero XL will fit cross bars 4 inches in diameter or less. You will also need to be sure that the crossbars can be adjusted between 24 and 34 inches apart. If your crossbars can fall anywhere in that range, the cargo box will fit.

Always be sure to check your vehicle owners manual to determine the weight carrying capacity of your roof.

I Checked with Thule and Yakima and they both have 18 cubic foot roof mounted cargo boxes recommended for your vehicle. The Yakima SkyBox 18 Cargo Box, item # Y07336, will work nicely on your 2002 GMC Yukon.
